Why an “Intentional Discipleship Environment”?

Jesus trained His disciples with purpose and on purpose.
He didn’t disciple indefinitely — He equipped them to lead themselves and others.

Student FM follows the same model:

  • Time-bound: 10 weeks of focused growth

  • Purposeful: Clear outcomes and intentional structure

  • Empowering: Prepares students to lead and serve with clarity.

  • 1. Character Formation

    Develop Christ-like character through spiritual disciplines, Gospel understanding, and relational fruit.

    2. Calling Discovery

    Explore how God uniquely shaped you — your passions, strengths, and story — to make a real difference.
    (Ephesians 2:10)

    Discipleship Formula: Character × Calling = Impact

  • Each 90-minute huddle includes:

    • Triad Accountability
      Small groups of 2–3 students check in:
      “What is God teaching me?” “What do I need to do about it?” “How can we help?”

    • H2O (Habits to Outcome) Training
      Scripture reading, journaling, and prayer with practical application.

    • Big Idea Discussion
      Reflect on book or video content that supports character and calling.

    • Closing + Prayer

    • Timeframe: 1 Info Huddle + 10 Weekly Huddles

    • Group Size: 8–12 Students

    • Environment: Small group, outcome-focused, habit-fueled, content-flavored

    You’ll Commit To:

    • Participating in all huddles

    • Serving regularly in ministry

    • Weekly Bible engagement & journaling (3x/week)

    • Connecting with a Triad for accountability

    • Completing MyImpact + GPS assessments

    • Reflecting on how your gifts and passions can be used for God’s mission

  • All materials are digital and easily accessible:

    • FM Curriculum & Bible readings

    • Weekly video assignments

    • Assessment tools (GPS, MyImpact)

    • Leader guides & huddle outlines

    • Community forum with thousands of other followers
